About the author(s)

Marcela Raggio graduated from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina, majoring in Literature and in English Studies. She then specialized in University teaching, and later got her 2 M.A. degrees, in Latin American Literature and in Film Studies, at UNCuyo and Universidad de Valladolid, Spain, respectively. She holds a PhD in Literature from UNCuyo. Currently, she is tenure
professor of British and American Literature at UNCuyo, where she also directs a research team on Anglophone culture and identities. She is a researcher at CONICET (Argentina's National Council for Research). She has published books on Argentine cinema, Anglophone poets in Argentina, Latin American and North American literature; and several articles on her field of specialization.
