The seventh international BCLT Summer School bringing together writers, translators, and literary professionals for a week of literary translation workshops, round tables, seminars, and readings.

Writers in residence: Patricia Duncker, Elena Lappin, Tim Parks (English); Chantal Bourbigot (French); Peter Waterhouse (German); Eleni Yannakakis (Greek); Gianrico Carofiglio (Italian); Michal Witkowski (Polish); Andrei Kurkhov (Russian) Carlos Gamerro (Spanish). Workshop leaders: Ilide Carmignani, Robert Chandler, Howard Curtis, Maria Consta, Iain Galbraith, Magda Haydel, Miguel Martinez Lage, Cecilia Rossi, Barbara Schaden, Giuliana Schiavi, Ros Schwartz. Keynote speakers: Roger Baines, Fred Dalmasso, Alan Dix, David Johnston, Katherine Mendelsohn, Blake Morrison, Simon Rees Translation workshops from English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish.
