About the author(s)

Mette Rudvin has studied at the Universities of Oslo, Oxford and Warwick and holds a PhD in Translation Studies. She has published and lectured on translation studies, community interpreting, folklore studies and national/ethnic identity. She has been teaching a wide range of courses at the University of Bologna. She is currently lecturer in dialogue interpreting at the Advanced School for Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators.
