Translation: Language across Languages

3rd International Workshop

Pavia, October 2013

LETiSS officially announces its 3rd International Workshop that will be held in Pavia in October 2013, under the title Translation: Language across Languages.
I am attaching to this email the announcement of the event. It contains all the relevant information about the Workshop programme. The Workshop is open to students, Ph.D. candidates, Post-docs, researchers, translators, and language teachers.

As usual for LETiSS events, no tuition fee is required.
Furthermore, 10 advanced students in linguistics and related fields will be selected by the Organizing Committee, and LETiSS will cover their accommodation expenses. The main criterion will be the degree of relatedness/pertinence of their research interests with the topics of the Workshop.

All participants will be given a certificate of attendance.

Four participants will also be allowed to present their ongoing research during the Workshop. All interested are invited to submit a proposal for a presentation (20 mins+discussion, max 250 words), that will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee.

Applications guidelines might be found at http://www.iusspavia.it/UserFiles/File/LETiSS/Application%20guidelines.pdf

The deadline for the submission of presentation's proposals and applications is June 14th, 2013.

If you know any PhD and post-doc students or young researchers and scholars that might be interested in the topic of the Workshop, please feel free to encourage them to participate or spread the news.

Do not hesitate to write to emanuele.miola@unipv.it for any further information.
