Il laboratorio LETRA, Seminario di traduzione letteraria, che afferisce al Laboratorio letterario (LaborLET) del Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia dell’Università di Trento, organizza la sesta edizione della Summer School di traduzione letteraria LETRA 2026 “Tradurre la narrativa”

. La Summer School si svolgerà ad Andalo dal 15 al 19 giugno 2026 ed è così articolata: letteratura francese con Maurizia Balmelli, letteratura inglese con Norman Gobetti, letteratura spagnola con Monica Bedana, letteratura svedese con Fulvio Ferrari e letteratura tedesca con Alessandra Luise.

Rethinking Practices in the Era of AI

The international conference “Resilience and Adaptation in Intercultural and Educational Mediation: Rethinking Practices in the Era of AI”” intends to explore both professional and non-professional practices in intercultural and educational mediation, with a particular emphasis on community interpreting and educational mediation in academic settings. Discussions will encompass innovative research approaches, adaptation strategies in connection to technological advancements, including AI-powered translation tools, and the evolving role of interpreters as both linguistic and social mediators.

Legal Translation & Interpreting on the move. Research and Professional Opportunities

SSLMIT Trieste, 2-4 October 2024

The conference Legal Translation & Interpreting on the move is the closing event of the 2022-2023 edition of the 1st-Level Master programme in Legal Translation offered by the Department of Legal, Language, Interpreting and Translation Studies of the University of Trieste.
The conference is also part of the events organised on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (SSLMIT) as well as the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the University of Trieste.

3rd International Conference on Community Translation
